In 1975, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) was created with the goal of reducing the State's petroleum consumption. NYSERDA's aim is to help New York meet its energy goals: reducing energy consumption, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and protecting the environment. In today's energy environment, efficient, reliable, and diverse sources of power simply make good business sense. While much of NYSERDA's efforts are aimed at residential usage, they also target new and existing businesses. If you have a business that is impacted by energy supply and costs, then check out what NYSERDA can do for you.
